Vallerie DelCogliano
The entire wiki is written from Vallerie's perspective. But, to help with clarity, I (the author) will take over this page.
Vallerie Rose DelCogliano, born in 1936, is a stubborn and perceptive 16 y/o who grew up sheltered by her father. She’s oblivious to social cues, norms, and slang - which is very convenient for the audience since you guys don't know that stuff either.
Vallerie doesn’t like to admit when she’s afraid. She wants others to see her as confident and brave - someone who always knows what to do and say. Vallerie isn’t strong physically; she chooses to be snarky and quippy as a defense. However, she's easily intimidated, usually masking that fear in front of others. This mask drops when her tactic doesn’t work (for example, it doesn’t work on Gerald).
Vallerie’s motives are to find her dad, who she belives Gerald is trying to find, and to learn about her new environment (aka normal life/society for the 1950s). All of Vallerie's actions are based on her assumptions, but sometimes, she's wrong. Keep this in mind while reading the story and wiki.
Fun facts about Vallerie:
• Vallerie's personality is based off my own stubborness.
• Her last name, DelCogliano, was the last name of my Italian language teacher in highschool.
• Vallerie was first designed back in 2020. She used to look like this. Funnily enough, her design hasn't changed much.
• She was originally going to die at the end of the story by swerving off the road during a rainstorm and crashing her car into a ditch. I'm not even joking. What the fuck.
